CSR activity : Foodbank Lifeline Foundation

Betsson Group Affiliates team visited once again the Foodbank lifeline Foundation in time for their Christmas preparations. Employees have donated towards the purchasing of a large number of durable bags, Christmas calendars and several food items. The team visited the premises on three different mornings, to sort and label donated food.

The Foodbank Lifeline Foundation is currently supplying food packs to a large number of families in Malta and Gozo, where numbers have increased considerably. During the pandemic, the need for food donations increased in communities across the island.

The foundation also works closely with several NGOs as well as other charities and is in constant need of support in order to continue upholding its great service to others. Foodservice distributors were on the front lines of this crisis, working selflessly to keep food moving and feeding the families who have been struggling with food insecurity.
